Andrew Just

CEO

Years of client and candidate feedback inspired Andrew to create Joule Resources in December 2021.

Andrew has recruited into the engineering, energy and resources sectors for over a decade, placing candidates all across Australia as well as internationally.

Before Joule Resources, Andrew was the Manager - Western Region for Placements International for over 5 years where he led the company's expansion into Australia, Asia and Africa. Prior to that, he was Spencer Ogden’s first recruitment consultant in Australia and built a team of 8 consultants recruiting into the engineering and resources sectors.

Andrew holds a degree in economics and prior to moving to Australia in 2011, he traded derivatives for a USD 1 Billion hedge fund for 6 years.

Senior Consultant

Dougie Clarke

Dougie joined Joule Resources in 2023 and quickly established himself as the go-to consultant for Designers (all disciplines), Environmental Specialists and Project Controls Professionals.

He recruits for both contract and permanent positions, offering an extremely high level of service to his clients and candidates.

Outside of working for Joule Resources, through The Experience Lab, he performs live shows to corporate audiences covering topics relating to company culture primarily within the resources sector.

Prior to working for Joule, Dougie worked for Funk Cider as Sales and Operations Manager for 8 years.

Kelly Duque

Principal Consultant

Over the past decade, Kelly has connected organisations with hard-to find talent. She is known for developing long-standing relationships, delivering a recruitment process that is transparent and genuinely aligned with each client’s needs.

Before Joule Resources, Kelly held the following positions:

  • Principal Consultant - Longreach Recruitment (7.5 Years)

  • Team Manager - Hays (6.5 Years)

This experience has given her a strong understanding of technical, operational and leadership recruitment across industries.

Kelly takes pride in providing not only the right people but also valuable insights into market trends and workforce strategy.
